Robin Birchall
Director

Mr. Robin Birchall served as Executive Chairman for the Company from March 2013 to January 2016. Mr. Birchall has fourteen years of experience in resource corporate finance, most recently with BMO Capital Markets, where he completed a variety of high profile transactions for resource companies. Mr. Birchall has extensive experience financing companies in the former Soviet Union, having completed a large number of financing and acquisition transactions, including the landmark UrAsia financing in Kazakhstan and PhosAgro’s IPO on the London Stock Exchange. Prior to BMO, Mr. Birchall was V.P. Corporate Finance at Canaccord Adams Ltd. and earlier at Brown Shipley & Co. Mr. Birchall earned an MBA from the University of Cape Town, an Msc in European and International Politics from Edinburgh University, a Première Degré en Langues Literature et Civilisation, from Stendahl Université and a BA from Queens University. Mr. Birchall is also the founding director and CEO of Caribbean Americas Energy Ltd.

J. Trevor Eyton, O.C.
Director

Director of Silver Bear since December 2004. The Honourable J. Trevor Eyton is a former member of the Senate of Canada. Between 1979 and 1990, Senator Eyton served as President and CEO and between 1990 and 1998 as Chairman and Senior Chairman of Brascan Ltd. (now known as Brookfield Asset Management Inc). Senator Eyton has also served on the boards of directors of numerous public and private companies, the United States and Europe, including Noranda Inc. Since May 2000, Senator Eyton has served as Chairman and a director of Ivernia Inc. Senator Eyton is also the Chairman of the recently-created Canada-Russia Roundtable, designed to further promote bilateral economic relations. Senator Eyton has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Victoria College, University of Toronto and a Doctor in Jurisprudence degree from the University of Toronto Law School.

Boris Granovsky
Director

Director of Silver Bear since February 2015. Mr. Granovsky worked at Severstal Resources until December 2007. Since January 2008, Mr. Granovsky served as head of Strategy and Business Development at Aterra. As a member of Aterra’s Executive Board, Mr. Granovsky is a member of several of their portfolio companies’ board of directors, including Silver Bear’s. He holds Bachelor of Economics from Moscow State University. Mr. Granovsky is a nominee of Aterra.

Dominic Gualtieri
Director

Director of Silver Bear since July 2008. Mr. Gualtieri was previously Head of Equities and a Managing Director of Alfa-Bank, Russia's largest privately-owned bank. He was responsible for the Bank's equity brokerage and distribution through its international offices in London, New York, Kiev and Nicosia as well as for leading the sales and trading teams in Moscow. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Gualtieri was Group Managing Director of Franklin Templeton Asset Management in South Africa and previously headed Templeton's Moscow office. Mr. Gualtieri is licensed by the FSFM as an asset manager. Mr. Gualtieri holds an MA in Economics from the University of Toronto and was twice awarded the Simcoe Fellowship for academic achievement.

Graham Hill
President and Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Graham Hill has been appointed as the President, Chief Executive Officer and director of the Company in November 2014. Mr. Hill is a qualified mechanical engineer who has over 25 years of experience building and operating gold, silver, coal and mineral sand mines internationally. He has held senior management positions with a number of companies and has been involved in the building of the Yatela and Sadiola gold mines in Mali for Anglo American Corp and was responsible for the development and management of Oxus Resources' Jerooy and Amantaytau gold and silver mines in Central Asia. Most recently, Mr. Hill was the Chief Operating Officer for AXMIN Inc., responsible for overseeing the Feasibility Study and early development of the Passendro Gold project in the Central African Republic. Mr. Hill holds an honours degree in mechanical engineering from Sheffield Hallam University. Mr. Hill is currently based in Moscow to directly oversee the Company's operations in the Russian Federation.

Alexey Sotskov
Director

Director for Silver Bear since August 2014. Mr. Sotskov has more than 15 years of project management experience in the technology and business process optimization sectors. Currently, he is a Representative of Inflection. Previously, he was the Project Portfolio Manager of Technonicol, a large Russian manufacturer and distributor of construction materials. Prior to joining Technonicol, Mr. Sotskov led certain business optimization and ERP implementation programs for TNK-BP, a major vertically integrated Russian oil company headquartered in Moscow and for Kinross Gold. Mr. Sotskov holds a Masters Degree in Science and Applied Mathematics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. Mr. Sotskov is a nominee of Inflection.

Christopher Westdal, BA, MBA
Non-Executive Chairman

Director for Silver Bear since October 2007 and appointed Non-Executive Chairman in January 2016. Mr. Westdal, a consultant and former Canadian diplomat with 40 years of international experience, was Ambassador to Russia (2003 to 2006), the United Nations in Geneva (1999 to 2003), Ukraine (1996 to 1998), South Africa (1991 to 1993) and Bangladesh and Burma (1982 to 1985). Prior assignments abroad included India and Nepal (from 1973 to 1975, responsible for Canadian International Development Agency programming) and Tanzania (from 1970 to 1973, as a member of a University of Toronto economic advisory team). In Ottawa, he was Director General of the Foreign Ministry’s International Organizations Bureau from 1987 to 1991, and Assistant Secretary at the Privy Council Office to the Cabinet Committee on Foreign Policy and Defense (1976 to 1978 and 1985 to 1987). He is currently also a director of Silver Bear Resources Inc. Mr. Westdal holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from St. Johns College and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Manitoba.
